How to reach CBS

 

Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (CBS) is located in the Kalina campus of the University of Mumbai. The city of Mumbai has excellent transport facilities.

 

By train:

There are three principal railway networks operating in the Mumbai suburban network: Western Railway, Central Railway (main Line) and Central Railway (Harbour Line)

 

The closest railway station is Santa Cruz Station which is a station on the Western Railway suburban network. Taxis and rickshwas are available from the station to CBS. It will take you approximately 20 minutes to reach CBS. For a Google route map, click here.

 

From Kurla railway station which is on the Central railway suburban line, one can reach CBS by taking a rickshaw which will cost you between Rs 35 to Rs 40/-. It will take approximately 25 minutes to cover the distance. For a Google route map, click here.

 

Taxis and Rickshaws are distinguished by the yellow and black colour. Taxis have a seating capacity of 4 adult passengers and rickshaws have a seating capacity of 3 passengers.
